A budget provision of ₹43,033 crores has been made, covering 50% of the total loan amount required.
Implementation Details
The Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) has been appointed as the nodal agency for the scheme. It plays a crucial role in coordinating with various stakeholders, including members of the District Industry Committee, to ensure successful implementation. Technical assessments and district-level reports are crucial in the approval process, with a detailed project plan amounting to ₹2,153 crores already proposed.
